ABOUT THE AWARDS
The annual Idaho Innovation Awards is Idaho’s first and only innovation awards program. The program recognizes innovations, innovative professionals and companies throughout the state. Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service, U.S. business law firm, has organized and hosted the program since 2006 and is pleased to organize this year’s program with Trailhead and the Idaho Technology Council.
2018 PROGRAM RECAP
The 2018 program was held in conjunction with the Idaho Technology Council Hall of Fame banquet. More than 600 individuals attended the event at Boise Centre on October 17 to pay tribute to the Hall of Fame inductees, Joe Albertson, founder of Albertsons Inc., and Bob Miller, Chairman of the Board of Albertsons Companies, and the Idaho Innovation Awards’ finalists and winners. Attendees included leaders from Idaho’s technology, business and academic communities. The program and event received media coverage from across the state. Nominations are evaluated by the Idaho Innovation Awards Selection Committee that is made up of Idaho business and technology leaders.
In the event that conflicts exist between Selection Committee members and nominations, members will provide full disclosure to the rest of the committee. Following the evaluation process, each Selection Committee member will vote on ALL nominations submitted in EACH category. However, Selection Committee members with conflicts will refrain from voting on nominations in the category that the conflicted nomination is being judged. Finalists will be notified in mid-September. Selection Committee members’ votes will be tabulated by a certified public accountant.
(Note: Stoel Rives LLP organizes the program, no one from the firm votes.)
